Starting out with research into ren faires and medieval blackletter. I then pivoted towards designing an experience based in what I found heavily focusing on the sweeping forms of blackletter charcters. When creating supporting elements such as tickets and signage it was important to me that I made them integral to the overall experience by emulating era appropriae alternatives such as carved wooden signage and tickets that resemble scrolls.
